My life, my mood, my imagination and even my thoughts have been
influenced by the music I have listened to. I don’t like all kinds of music
however, I have some types of sounds I love. My favorite kind of music has
always been rock, I love dancing which is related to music and I adore my iPod.
One of my favorite groups has always been Pink Floyd. It is kind of strange
since I was not even born when this band reached its success. But I love their
music, their sounds and specially the songs’ lyrics. I think music is like
poetry and you can tell how you are and feel when writing a song. One of my
favorite songs is “Time”.

MEANING OF THE SONG: The song Is about self-help, talks about someone who’s oppressed by someone else (maybe a girl who’s oppressed by her boyfriend, I don´t know) and “she” decides to be free. “She” screams “roar” to say that she has the power to set herself free. The whole song and the video are about a jungle and jungle animals but that is just a metaphor, the roar or the tiger/lion represents strength.
